34th National Children's Book Day at the Library

Today we celebrate the 34th National Children's Book Day. This day also marks the anniversary of the publication of Jose Rizal's "The Monkey and the Turtle" in Trubner's Oriental Record in London. To join the nationwide celebration, the PLV Library and Valenzuela City Library will be holding simple activities to every reader, young and old at the Valenzuela City Library.

Also known as Sir Joey to many, Dr. Reyes was awarded with the Dr. Pio Valenzuela Memorial Awards for Journalism and Literature in 2003.
