November is Library and Information Services month and it is indeed fitting to have a library professional as PLV Library's Reading Icon. He is none other than, Mr. Elijah John F. Dar Juan. Mr. Dar Juan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science at the School of Library and Information Studies of the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP SLIS) in 2007. By God’s grace, he successfully passed the 17 th Librarian Licensure Examination in November 2008 and achieved First Place among the examinees. Mr. Elijah John F. Dar Juan is PLV Library's Reading Icon for the month of November. Being a professional librarian for a decade, he is equipped with specialized work and training experience in library and information work. He served in The University Library of UP Diliman for five years, four of which as a reference librarian and a cataloger.
