DE LOS REYES of Barangay Coloong is currently a resident fellow of the University of Santo Tomas Center for Creative Writing and Literary Studies and a research fellow of the Research Center for Culture, Arts and Humanities of the same university. He has a BSE Social Science degree from Philippine Normal University. He obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees in Philippine Studies from De La Salle University where his final research project was given an Outstanding Dissertation Award.
