PLV Library Classroom Instruction

From June 27 to July 4, the Library conducted its annual classroom instruction for freshmen students taking the Study and Thinking Skills class. This was done in coordination with the English Department in the aim of strengthening the library research skills of incoming college students. The following were discussed in the said sessions:

  • Kinds of Library Materials and their Use
  • Sections of a Library
  • The Card Catalog
  • Using an Online Catalog
  • Internet Search Tips
A 6 minute video presentation was also shown to students whose sessions were held in the Library. Thank you all for participating! See you at the Library!
